CLAIM PAG-IBIG CONTRIBUTION – Here is a guide on when you can get all your member savings to the Pag-IBIG Fund.
Millions of Pinoys in the country are members of the Pag-IBIG Fund. In fact, there are also overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who managed to maintain their membership with the Fund active by continuously posting contributions to their accounts.
Every month, the Pag-IBIG Fund members submit a certain amount to the contribution based on the rate set by the government agency. It has set different rates among its locally employed, self-employed, and OFW members.
When can you claim your Pag-IBIG contribution or savings? The maturity of the contributions comes if the member has reached a total of at least 240 monthly contributions.
If you will claim your Pag-IBIG contribution or savings, you may also get your Total Accumulated Value (TAV) after the 15th year that you are a continuous member of the Fund if your membership began after the implementation of the Republic Act No. 9679.
However, with regards to withdrawing your TAV, you will only get it after paying off your any short-term loan with the Fund as well as your Housing Loan, if you have.
