The highly anticipated pilot episode of the TV series featuring Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil titled “Dolce Amore” dominated it’s rivals in terms of nationwide ratings according to the data released by Kantar Media. The teleserye is off to a good start by scoring a high ratings compared to its rival.
The premiere episode of “Dolce Amore” on Monday registered a national TV rating of 35.6%, while its closest rival, GMA 7’s “That’s My Amboy,” only scored 15.8%.
“Dolce Amore” revolves around the story of two orphans, Serena (Liza Soberano) and Simon (Enrique Gil), who live world’s apart until the day the meet in most the peculiar and awkward way.
Aside from the huge success of “Dolce Amore,” Kantar Media also announced that the intense finale of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo,” broke its own ratings record as it scored a 44.5% of the national TV viewing audience in the country last Friday. The records also toppled the previous records set by PSY for its February 9, 2016 episode.
