Michelle Dee revealed her true gender orientation
Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community as she revealed that she is bis=xual.
Michelle is a combination of beauty and brain, plus she is also a talented woman. For several years, she has done various acting and hosting jobs. With her beautiful face and figure, she won the hearts of many pageant fans during her recent pageant stint.
Weeks after her crowning moment, Michelle made a revelation and this caught the attention of many netizens as her name trended on social media.
In a Mega magazine interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Michelle Dee said, “I definitely identify myself as bisexual. I’ve identified with that for as long as I can remember. I’m attracted to all forms of beauty, all shapes and sizes.”
She also shared that during the MUPH 2023 pageant, she was advised to talk about her gender orientation. However, she refused to do this because she does not want her journey to be concentrated on this aspect of her identity.
“I’m so much more than how I identify myself. I have so much more to offer the world and the universe than how I identify myself,” the beauty queen-actress said.
Michelle added that this is the reason why she chose not to come out during the pageant despite the pressure. She also stressed that joining MUPH is not just about her but also about what she is fighting for. The Kapuso star has been an advocate of autism awareness and this is her main goal in joining the pageant.
“I felt like coming out during the competition would shock everyone, and cloud everyone’s judgment. I also wanted to do that within my own timeline, and it wasn’t the right time,” Michelle Dee stressed.
To recall, after her MUPH win, old photos of Michelle showing her boyish look surfaced online.
