Pokwang Airs Dismay to Women Who Keep Calling Her Bitter
Kapuso comedienne Pokwang airs disappointment to women who keep calling her bitter amid her issue with her ex-husband Lee O’Brian.
In an interview with veteran broadcaster Karen Davila, Pokwang, also known as Marietta Subong in real life, couldn’t disguise her dissatisfaction with other women who were attacking her rather than supporting her in her dispute with Lee O’Brian. The comedian requested that netizens respect her right to express herself and refrain from condemning or labeling her as “bitter.”
She admitted that she is more impacted when she reads remarks from other women, particularly moms. Pokwang then asked them why they couldn’t understand her feelings, adding that she would accept it if they were men.
Mas tanggap ko pa kung lalaki nangba-bash sa akin, e.” she stated in the interview.
Pokwang, as previously stated, decided to stop her and Lee’s reconciliation hopes due to the American actor’s desire to date another lady. However, other netizens criticize her social media post, urging her to move on and stop talking about Lee.
