The popularity of David Licauco was indeed boosted by his “Fidel” character
Rumor has it that the talent fee of Kapuso actor David Licauco is now P400 to 500 thousand per appearance.
David is now being tagged as the “Pambansang Ginoo” because of his role in the hit Kapuso series Maria Clara at Ibarra. Many fans are loving his onscreen partnership with actress Barbie Forteza who played Klay in the said historical portal drama series.
David previously shared he was already thinking of quitting showbiz and will just focus on his business. However, he thought of making another acting project when the MCAI project was offered to him.
That decision turned out to be the right one because of the success of the series, as well as people’s feedback on his performance and his new loveteam.
Definitely, David Licauco’s career had a boost and this meant a higher talent fee. Based on the article in PEP, it was said that the actor is now receiving half a million or a little less for his single appearance.
“Ang dinig namin nagri-range ng 400 hanggang 500 thousand pesos ang talent fee niya per appearance,” PEP’s writer Gorgy Rula shared. The writer added that sometimes, David would have two “rakets” a day and with this, it was said that he would get more than a million pesos a day for his talent fee.
Rula also said that in order to maintain his showbiz status, David’s loveteam with Barbie should be taken care of and the actor should develop his acting skills more.
