Honest Netizen Earns Praises Online for Returning Wrongly Sent Money on Gcash 

An honest netizen goes viral and earns praises online after returning a wrongly sent money on his Gcash account. 

Yron Quinto, a Good Samaritan, recently returned a wrongly sent amount of money to his e-wallet account. Despite not being pursued by the owner of the money, he did not hesitate to do the right thing and return it promptly. 

According to the honest netizen, he was surprised when he found out that a total of P6,650 was suddenly credited to his account. He realized that the money was not intended for him and immediately contacted the e-wallet provider to return the funds to the rightful owner.

“Biglang may na-receive lang akong notification na may pumasok na pera GCash account ko. When I checked my account balance, legit na may nagsend pero hindi ko alam kung sino,” Quinto said. 

Yron’s action serves as a reminder of the importance of honesty and integrity. He emphasized that returning the money was a simple thing to do and the right thing to do. He didn’t want to benefit from someone else’s mistake or misfortune. 

“Since wala naman akong ineexpect na magpapadala ng pera sa akin, trinansfer ko na lang pabalik sa sender. Hindi sa akin yung pera so I think yun lang yung tamang gawin,” he added.
