Queenie Pacquiao is pursuing college in the US, with her chosen school and program drawing attention to the cost of her education.
Based on a previous article, Jinkee and Manny Pacquiao sent off their daughter to college in Chicago. The boxing champion and his wife accompanied Queenie as she moved into her dormitory at Loyola University Chicago.
“New city, new campus, same amazing spirit. My heart is so full and a little bit heavy, but I know you are ready for this, Queenie! God be with you always!” Jinkee said in a Facebook post on Monday, August 17.
Their youngest daughter is taking up forensic science at Loyola University in Chicago. She graduated from Brent International School Manila in May 2026 before heading to the US for college.
According to reports online, Queenie’s estimated annual expenses at Loyola University Chicago could reach around $77,082, or approximately Php 4.73 million, for the 2026–2027 academic year.
This covers not only her tuition but also her mandatory fees, university housing, and a standard meal plan. Her undergraduate tuition alone is estimated at around $28,465 per semester, equivalent to roughly Php 1.75 million based on the conversion cited in the report.
Founded in 1870, the university is based in Chicago, Illinois, and is one of the largest Roman Catholic universities in the United States.
During her interview with sports journalist Dyan Castillejo, she accordingly had been considering different courses before she decided to pursue a field related to science. She was initially considering law, but later on, she realized that she preferred something in the sciences, leading her to choose forensic science.
As for her choice of school, she expressed, “I think the campus is nice, and they say the people are nice there, too. And I really just wanna visit, like, go there for the city.”
