Manny Pacquiao is very hands-on in his daughter’s college education
Queenie Pacquiao, the daughter of legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee, is transitioning to higher education after earning her high school diploma in May.
She is enrolled at Loyola University Chicago (LUC), where she will major in forensic science. Establishments like LUC were founded in 1870 in Chicago, Illinois, and today stand among the premier and largest Roman Catholic universities in the United States.
Talking about his course, it was shared on Reddit that Queenie shared with sports journalist Dyan Castillejo, who is friends with the Pacquiao couple, how she started her college journey.
“I don’t know how I reached that point. I generally was just looking around the courses, what course I could take… [A]fter this year, I was like, I don’t know if I could do law. I’d rather do something in the sciences, so I might as well do something in forensic science,” the daughter of Manny Pacquiao said.
She also said that the campus was nice and she thought that the people were nice too.
In a video that was shared on Reddit, it can be seen that Manny and Jinkee were there to assist their daughter. The couple carried luggage, fixed the bed, and helped Queenie organize her things.
Queenie’s younger sister Princess was also present and helped with organizing the things.
In an article published by PEP, Manny had to pay $28,465 per semester for Queenie’s undergraduate tuition. It is equivalent to roughly PHP1.75 million. The estimated annual cost for the 2026-2027 school year is around $77,082, or PHP4.73 million.
In the comment section of the Reddit post, netizens praised Jinkee and Manny Pacquiao for being present in every milestone of their children’s lives, while some netizens expressed admiration for Queenie for her chosen course and for carving her own path.
