The lawyer of Bea Alonzo released a statement about issue surrounding her union with Vincent Co
Atty. Joey V. Garcia, the legal counsel of Kapuso A-list actress Bea Alonzo, spoke about the issue previously speculated about her prenuptial agreement with her now-husband Puregold President Vincent Co.
Bea and Vincent’s wedding rumors had been lingering these past few months. It was in March when a netizen photographed a church’s wedding bann featuring the names of the couple.
Speculations surfaced that grand wedding was supposed to happen on May 14 in Spain. However, rumors surfaced that this will not push through because of the conflict between the two parties regarding the supposed prenup agreement which allegedly did not favor Bea.
Even though the rumored grand wedding did not happen in Spain, the couple privately tied the knot in Makati in a civil wedding ceremony, officiated by Mayor Nancy Binay.
Following the much talked about wedding, Bea Alonzo’s lawyer released a statement, clarifying the issue regarding the prenuptial agreement which circulated previously.
Atty. Joey Garcia, through a statement released by GMA News, confirmed that the wedding happened on July 13, around 7 PM. On the morning of the said day, netizens were already talking about a blind item about a wedding, and many guessed the it was Bea and Vincent.
The lawyer stressed that a clarification is being made regarding assumptions surrounding the prenuptial agreement.
“The earlier reports suggesting that there was any dispute, hesitation, or unresolved isue concerning teh prenuptial agreement are not accurate,” Bea’s legal counsel stressed.
Atty. Garcia also said that parties freely, knowingly and voluntarily executed their prenuptial agreement, and that Bea and Vincent both signed it properly. He also said that ther was no legal impediment arising from the execution of the agreement.
The lawyer of Bea Alonzo added that following this clarification, no further statement will be released regarding hte private affairs of the couple.
