2 Men Stole Expensive Milk From Pharmacy in Palawan
Two men are being suspected of repeatedly stealing expensive milk products from a pharmacy located across a hospital in Palawan.
According to a pharmacy attendant identified as Lea, the two men visited the pharmacy several times and immediately caught the attention of employees because of their unusual behavior. Staff members noticed that the pair seemed to be working together whenever they entered the store.
The attendant said the suspects appeared to distract pharmacy workers by asking about medicines, browsing different products, and requesting assistance. While one of them kept the staff occupied, the other allegedly took advantage of the situation.
Reports revealed that the two men were able to enter the pharmacy on three separate occasions. During each visit, they allegedly managed to steal a large can of Nutridiab milk, a product commonly used by people with diabetes. Each can was valued at P3,207, resulting in a significant loss for the business.
Pharmacy staff believe that the stolen products may have been sold to other people. According to them, they are familiar with most of their regular customers, especially those with relatives confined in the nearby hospital.
These customers usually ask for quotations or inquire about prices before making purchases, making the actions of the suspects stand out even more.
The repeated thefts have raised concerns among employees, who worry about the growing losses caused by the incident. Although the pharmacy owner has not yet announced whether the value of the stolen products will be charged to the staff, the workers are hoping that they will not have to shoulder the cost.
The pharmacy employees are now appealing to the public for assistance. They are asking anyone who may have unknowingly purchased the stolen milk products to come forward and cooperate with authorities.
