Barbie Forteza talked about her first project with Sharon Cuneta
Kapuso primetime queen Barbie Forteza shared what she noticed in the acting of Megastar Sharon Cuneta in their upcoming series Honor Thy Mother.
Barbie is one of the most prominent Kapuso stars of her generation. Through her various acting projects, she showed her versatility, and because of this, she established her name in showbiz.
One of the recent projects she’s working on is a series with her “idol.” Barbie was very vocal in the past interview about how she admires the Megastar.
The Kapuso primetime princess revealed that it was Sharon Cuneta who inspired her to be an actress, and now, they have the chance to work with each other.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Barbie Forteza described what she saw in the Megastar’s acting.
The younger actress said that the seasoned star exuded a different aura of being a protagonist. “She was never your stereotype bida. Kapag may ganitong line, minsan ide-deliver niya ng umiiyak, minsan hindi,” Barbie shared.
The Kapuso star also shared how Sharon would do a certain emotional scene and deliver her lines. “Minsan mas quiet at minsan hindi nga siya iiyak eh pero tagos. Ayun ‘yung complexity of delivering dialogues,” she shared.
Barbie also shared her first impression of Sharon. The younger actress shared that she easily felt the Megastar’s warmth as a person, and this is something she admires about the older actress.
The series Honor Thy Mother is the new collab series of GMA, ABS-CBN, and Prime Video. Also included in the series are Khalil Ramos, John Estrada, Mercedes Cabral, Tonton Gutierrez, and RK Bagatsing.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Barbie Forteza reflected on her acting career. She said that when the projects leveled up, her image also leveled up, as well as her branding. The actress couldn’t be more grateful for the success that she has right now.
