Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre admits that she is no longer open to falling in love if her relationship with Chris Bariou ends.
Siargao-based businessman Christophe Bariou is the long-time boyfriend of Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre. In previous interviews, the actress expressed that she was really hoping he was the one for her. She was even ready to become his wife.
Recently, in an interview with Karen Davila, Nadine shared that if their relationship fails, she spoke no interest in finding another love story. Nadine said, “That’s not impossible naman based on experience but I think now, you know naman I’m very happy with where I’m at.”
She added that if their relationship fails, she’ll probably settle for being single for the rest of her life.
“And, ito talaga itaga niyo sa bato — if Chris (Bariou) and I break up ayaw ko na mag-jowa, pagod na ako. But really I told myself that na parang sabi ko if this is not the last relationship that I will have I probably going to be single for the rest of my life,” she said.
She furthered that it’s hard to find someone who has the same mindset and values and is as caring as her boyfriend, Chris.
For now, her focus is on Chris, her career, family, the environment, and animals.
The actress opened up about this after she was asked about the possibility of falling in love with a screen partner. According to her, it is possible if she were her younger self, but right now, she’s just happy with where she is right now in her current relationship.
