Lotlot de Leon Reaches Breaking Point Over Brother Ian’s Alleged Lies
LOTLOT DE LEON – A visibly emotional Lotlot de Leon denied allegations about an inheritance dispute and delivered a powerful message to her brother, Ian de Leon.
Actress Lotlot de Leon became emotional and broke down in tears as she addressed what she described as false statements allegedly made by her brother, Ian de Leon, on national television regarding the estate left behind by their late mother, Nora Aunor.
During the story conference for her upcoming film 40 Days, Lotlot firmly denied Ian’s claims and clarified her position on the issue. She directly rejected allegations that she and her siblings—Matet, Kenneth, and Kiko—were pursuing any inheritance or property left by the late Superstar and National Artist.
The controversy stemmed from Ian’s appearance on the television program Fast Talk With Boy Abunda. According to reports, Ian stated that he had proposed creating a one-person corporation (OPC) that would manage the inheritance and legacy of Nora Aunor.
Responding to these claims, Lotlot expressed her frustration and disappointment.
“Hindi na ako papayag! Enough! Enough with the lies! Tahimik ako, tahimik si Matet, si Kiko at si Ken. Wala na kaming sinasabi, and then you go out on a TV show and tell everyone na sinabi mo sa amin, which is not true,” Lotlot’s emotional promise.
She explained that she had already entrusted the matter to her lawyer in an effort to avoid speaking publicly about the issue. However, she felt compelled to respond after hearing Ian’s statements.
“So this is just to clarify. Whatever you’re hearing, whatever you know, that’s not true. And it pains me so much kasi tinuring ko syang… inalagaan ko sya bilang kapatid. Binilin sa’kin ng nanay ko.”
Lotlot also recalled how she took care of her siblings during the years when their mother was living in the United States.
“Sa kanya na lahat. Wala akong hinihingi. Wala kaming hinihingi. Wala akong inaagaw. Walang inaagaw si Matet. He can have it all!” the actress emotionally insisted.
During the event, Lotlot repeatedly apologized to 40 Days director Louie Ignacio and the rest of the cast, including Dina Bonnevie, Snooky Serna, Elizabeth Oropesa, Lloyd Samartino, and others, for taking time away from the film’s promotional activities to address the controversy.
She also denied accusations that she and her adopted siblings were seeking a share of Nora Aunor’s estate.
”Mana? Wala namang mana. Ang naiwan lang ay yung mga lupa sa Bicol… at kung mayroon man, sa kanya na lahat. Wala kaming hinihingi. He can have it all. Sapat na sa akin na matawag kong mommy si Nora Aunor, na mapalaki ng isang Superstar,” she said.
