Mariel Padilla has no reason to worry about Robin Padilla
Celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla said that she is unbothered by the recent controversies involving her husband, Senator Robin Padilla.
Mariel has been very supportive of Sen. Robin’s political career. She was visible during the campaign period in 2022, and she continued being present for her husband.
In recent months, with all the tensions in the Senate, Sen. Robin’s name was dragged into different issues.
In a recent interview, based on the video that ABS-CBN News posted on Facebook, Mariel Padilla was asked about Sen. Robin Padilla.
She shared that she and her husband seldom talk about politics and the government. Mariel pointed out that what is important is that her husband is okay. She would just ask him, “Are you okay? Is everything okay?”
As long as the Senator says that he is okay, then the celebrity vlogger would not have a reason to worry. “Hindi na ako kailangang mag-alala kasi sinabi niya na okay siya,” Mariel said.
During the interview, she also said that she is not affected by the controversies and issues, and this sometimes surprises her. “I don’t get affected like maybe people would like or think I do,” she said, adding that she was suprise of how strong she is in handling this.
“I’m also surprised by how strong I am,” she said. When asked if her husband is strong, Mariel answered, “Robin is great.“
Then, she shared that before she would get affected by negativity, her husband would tell her not to give time to this matter. She said that she learned from her husband not to pay attention to the negativity and just focus on things that matter.
Mariel Padilla also shared that Sen. Robin Padilla loves it when there is discussion and conversation. They rarely talk about politics because most of the time, their conversations are focused on their children.
