Man Caught Stealing Bread From Bakery in Cavite, Store Attendant Expresses Frustration
A man was caught on camera allegedly stealing bread from a bakery in Dasmariñas, Cavite, leaving the store attendant disappointed, especially since life is already difficult these days.
Recently, Joyce Ibana, a Facebook user, shared a video showing a man allegedly stealing bread from a bakery in Dasmariñas, Cavite. The post quickly went viral and drew reactions from the online community.
In the video, a man can be seen passing by the bakery before suddenly grabbing bread from the display and quickly leaving the area.
According to Ibana theft incidents have reportedly become a common problem in their community. Because of this, the bakery owner became emotional and frustrated after seeing another person allegedly steal from the business.
Joyce also shared how difficult it has become to manage a small business due to rising prices and daily expenses. For small store owners, even the loss of a few products can already affect their earnings, especially during challenging times when every sale matters.
Some people sympathized with the bakery owner and understood the anger caused by repeated theft incidents in the area. However, others pointed out that while stealing is wrong, using violence against suspects should also be avoided.
Some netizens expressed concern about how poverty and desperation may be pushing some individuals to commit crimes, even for basic necessities like food.
Authorities reminded the public that theft should always be handled through proper legal procedures. They also stressed that taking matters into one’s own hands or hurting suspects could lead to more serious problems and possible legal consequences.

It’s really a pity some people resort to stealing food because they are poor and hungry. This is no longer surprising because even some rich people themselves steal, only in much much bigger amount!
