In 2025, celebrities McCoy De Leon and Elisse Joson confirmed their split. McCoy and Elisse released a joint statement about their split after several attempts to work it out and holding on with their best for as long as they could.
As the love did not last, they learned to let go, but it doesn’t mean they failed. What mattered most was that what they had was real, and the love gave them the greatest gift in their lives, their daughter named Felize.

In a previous article, Elisse spoke about the failed relationship. According to her, it was difficult. Recently, after their split, McCoy was asked about the latest in his love life, and according to him, this is not his priority for now. It made him realize a deeper understanding of the good impacts of focusing on himself, spending time on his hobbies, and having more time with his family.
He learned a lot and realized certain aspects of his life that needed improvement.
“Ang laking bagay pag nag-focus ka sa sarili. Makagawa ka sports, more time with family. Marami ako natutunan. Mas maging matured ka pala di mo akalain,” he said.
Meanwhile, the actor is set to make his first film shot abroad, titled “Flying Red Balloon.” This is a romance film that will be directed by Louie Ignacio. This film is set to be shot in Taiwan.
