Sen. Bong Go Visits Kitty Duterte at Hospital on her Birthday
KITTY DUTERTE – The daughter of former President Rodrigo Duterte expressed her gratitude to Senator Bong Go who visited her at the hospital.
The Duterte siblings visit their father, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, inside the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands from time to time. They were taking turns in visiting the former President.
The Duterte patriarch is faced with three (3) counts of murder as alleged crimes against humanity filed by the ICC prosecution. The youngest among the Duterte siblings, Kitty Duterte, initially admitted that she got scared seeing the former President inside the ICC detention facility.
Meanwhile, in her birthday message for her father last March 28, Kitty vowed to former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte that she will remain strong and although they’re together on his birthday, it is because she’s trying to fulfill his wish for her.
After the former President was arrested, the Filipino people witnessed closer ties among the Duterte siblings. Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte warned that they will fight back. For Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, Pres. Bongbong Marcos allegedly committed an impeachable offense over the arrest and the transfer of the custody of their father.
Recently, the youngest among the Duterte siblings, Kitty Duterte, celebrated her birthday inside a hospital room as she got confined. One of those who visited her is Senator Bong Go.
Sen. Bong Go is one of the closest and most loyal political allies of the Dutertes. He was a long-time aide of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte before he ran for senator in 2019 during his tenure as president.
Kitty Duterte is a goddaughter of Sen. Bong Go. Based on a post on social media, she recently expressed her gratitude to her godfather through a video message which he also shared in his social media page.
“Kasama po natin si Senator Ninong Bong Go ngayon, isa sa mga pinaka-loyal na tao sa papa ko. Mahal na mahal niya kaming lahat at mahal niya si Tatay Digong. Nandito siya ngayon sa birthday ko na may sakit ako at na-admit ako sa ospital binisita niya ako at pinadalhan ng fruit basket at regalo,” Kitty said.
Furthermore, Kitty Duterte thanked Sen. Bong Go for his loyalty to them most especially to her father. She thanked him for everything that he does for them.
“Thank you, Ninong Bong, maraming salamat for everything that you do… for being a second papa to me and thank you for your loyalty,” the daughter of FPRRD said based on the post.
Amid the prominence of their family in the political arena, Kitty Duterte previously claimed that she has no plans to enter politics.
