Max Collins made this decision in her life
Kapuso actress Max Collins shared in a recent interview that she has decided to stop searching for her biological father.
Max is one of the most in-demand actresses of the Kapuso network. Her most recent acting project is an upcoming series, The Master Cutter, with Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
It was previously revealed that Max asked Dingdong’s wife, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera’s “blessing” as the leading lady in the series.
Max shared that Marian was very supportive of her and Dingdong’s new series.
In a recent interview on the Kapuso afternoon talk show, Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Max Collins also shared something about her personal life.
She revealed that she has stopped searching for her father. “Kasi sinubukan ko naman, e. But I couldn’t find. I wasn’t successful. So I would hire,” she explained.
Then the actress said that her mother has been the one supporting her ever since. “Okay na ‘yon. Kasi wala naman siyang pakinabang sa buhay ko. Not to be mean, but it’s like my mom did everything. Siya ‘yong tumayong ina at ama sa aming pamilya. So hindi ko siya kailangan,” the actress stressed.
It was said that Max’s parents separated when she was just a baby and have never returned since. She also said that her father didn’t look for her, and so, she would look for him.
However, the actress stressed that this was not out of anger. Eventually, Max Collins realized that she didn’t need to look for her father to be whole, as she had thought when she was a child.
Meanwhile, Max Collins is now in a good co-parenting setup with her estranged husband, actor Pancho Magno. Their past relationship was blessed with a son.
