Dennis Trillo Shares Relatable Pain Over Rising Gas Costs
DENNIS TRILLO – Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo took to Facebook to share his reaction to a full tank that now costs P10,000.
Award-winning Filipino actor Dennis Trillo recently shared his surprise over the rising cost of fuel, echoing the sentiments of many Filipinos affected by the continuous increase in petroleum prices.
Through a Facebook post, the actor expressed his shock after having his vehicle refueled. Like many motorists, he did not expect just how much prices had climbed in such a short period of time. His candid reaction quickly caught the attention of his followers online.

“10k na pala magpa-full tank ngayon? Whew..Sana temporary lang ito,” he wrote.
The statement resonated strongly with netizens, many of whom flooded the comment section to share their own experiences. Several agreed with the actor, saying they, too, were surprised by the steep costs of gasoline and diesel. Others pointed out how fuel expenses have become a growing burden, especially for those who rely on daily driving for work or business.
The spike in fuel prices has been ongoing for weeks, driven largely by fluctuations in the global oil market. International developments, particularly tensions in the Middle East, have contributed to uncertainty in oil supply, which in turn affects local pump prices in countries like the Philippines.
These global issues have made fuel costs unpredictable, leaving consumers bracing for further increases. For ordinary citizens and even celebrities like Trillo, the impact is clearly being felt, highlighting how widespread the concern has become.

In a previous article, the Department of Foreign Affairs said Manila received Iran’s commitment that Philippine-flagged ships and Filipino seafarers will be permitted to transit the strategically important Strait of Hormuz safely and without hindrance.
While this development offers some level of reassurance regarding the safety of maritime operations, it does little to immediately ease the financial strain caused by rising fuel prices. For now, many Filipinos can only hope, just like Trillo, that the situation will stabilize soon and that fuel costs will eventually go down.
