ABS-CBN actor Jake Cuenca said he is not someone who is fond of hiding the person he is dating from the public.
Based on a previous article, actor Jake Cuenca confirmed that he is currently dating someone. However, he chose not to reveal the woman’s identity yet. Following his breakup with Chie Filomeno, he is now ready to love again. While he is open to welcoming someone again into his life, he is not rushing to be in a serious relationship.
As of now, he is enjoying his single life and taking things at his own pace. He is just happy meeting new people and spending time in someone’s company while focusing on personal growth and rediscovering himself.
Previously, Jake was spotted with beauty queen Rabiya Mateo. They were spotted at a restaurant in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Following the speculations sparked by their photos, he said in an interview that he is not someone who would hide the person he is dating from the public. He never liked the energy of having someone to hide from the people, whether this someone is his partner or someone he’s getting to know.
“I don’t necessarily hide –– I don’t like that energy yung you hide her. For me, I feel like I should be proud of the woman. If I’m with a woman –– regardless if I’m just dating her or my partner –– responsibilidad ko siya eh. I’m gonna treat her to the best of my capability,” he explained.
He values being open and authentic about his personal life. He already dedicates so much of himself to his works and roles, and in his personal life, he wants freedom to live his personal life on his own terms. The actor expressed that he doesn’t want to hide his relationships or who he is outside of work and prefers to be honest and true to himself.
