Currently, “It’s Showtime” has been airing on television for sixteen years. It started on ABS-CBN in October 2009 and is now airing on GMA Network.

It can be recalled that Vhong was among the original hosts of the noontime show along with Vice Ganda, Kim Atienza, Jugs Jugueta, Anne Curtis, and Teddy Corpuz. Later on, new hosts were introduced.

In the latest episode of “Diamond Star” Maricel Soriano’s vlog, based on the article in Balita, she asked Vhong Navarro what he thought of the noontime show as well as its co-hosts.

Kumusta naman samahan n’yo, anak?” the veteran actress asked. He answered that everyone in the show really gets along well.

Ang ‘Showtime’ kasi, number one, bawal pikon. Masaya, pamilya [kami]. Talagang off cam kahit sa bahay lang, sa [group chat] namin, makukulit pa rin.“Walang kupas. ‘Yong kamustuhan hindi natatapos, ‘yong kulitan pati sa messages sa GC nandoon pa rin. Hindi nawawala,” he shared.

Vhong pointed out that a big factor in the partnership is that they have known each other for a long time and know each other well. “Saka kasi kilala n’yo na ‘yong isa’’t isa. So kabisado n’yo na ‘yong bawat isa. So alam n’yo na hanggang saan,” he said.

Meanwhile, in the same interview, Vhong Navarro also shared that as he gets older and nears 50, his body has already been struggling.
