Controversial personality Alvin Aragon urges “Ma’am Annette” to remove the “King of Talk” and writer from one of their shows.
Stirring buzz online once more, controversial personality Alvin Aragon took a swipe at a prominent television host, widely referred to as the “King of Talk.” In the entertainment industry, Boy Abunda is the one holding this title, which means Aragon is alluding to him.
The issue appears to be a continuation of their earlier exchanges, which stemmed from differing views on sensitive topics, particularly involving the LGBTQIA+ community.
King of Talk Boy Abunda previously addressed the claims of Alvin Aragon against the LGBTQIA+ community. Abunda expressed that he crossed a line when he started imposing his beliefs on others, making them appear like they’re the ones at fault for not believing in what he believes. He also believed that he crossed the boundary when he started dragging and mentioning names.
“Alvin, you cannot impose your faith. You cannot impose your parenting style. You cannot impose yourself on us. ‘Yun sa akin ang sobra dahil wala kang pakialam at walang puwedeng humusga sa amin. Walang puwedeng magsabi sa amin, not you, not anyone. Kung iba ang iyong paniniwala, iba ang iyong faith, sobra ang paggalang ko sa’yo,” the King of Talk said.
Recently, in a post, Aragon boldly called out “Ma’m Annette,” urging her to remove the King of Talk and the writer from the show. He expressed his strong disagreement with how certain issues are being discussed on television.
He did not extensively explain in his post, but his remarks suggested dissatisfaction with the host’s stance and approach to controversial subjects.
Aragon wrote:
“Ang king of talk ang dapat inaalisan ng show at ang writer ng show.
Kasi he uses, they uses this platform to encouraged and influenced Filipino people especially Filipino parents.
Gusto nila palabasin na Ok lang, Na walang masama ang maging bakla, maging tomboy, maging trans at maging queer.”
The renewed tirade quickly gained traction online. This is not the first time that Aragon has been criticized for his imposing stance, but despite this, he continues to stand firm in his views. He even uses his platform to voice his perspectives on social and cultural issues.
