Actress and singer Alexa Miro has stated she has no regrets about her past five-year relationship with Ilocos Norte First District Rep. Sandro Marcos, the son of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Years ago, rumors surfaced that Alexa and Sandro were in a romantic relationship. Their photos together circulated on social media. However, statements were made that they were just friends and their friendship has spanned years.
However, in September 2025, Alexa had a livestream in which she revealed that she was in a relationship with Sandro, and she was just told not to confirm it publicly.
Eventually, Alexa Miro confirmed that they broke up after five years of being together. A few days after her confirmation, the actress even said that she still loved the young politician. She even had an emotional moment when she was singing “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin” on TV5’s Sing Galing.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Alexa Miro shared that her love life is taking a break. “My heart is taking a rest. So, I’m single. And I’m career-focused right now,” the actress said.
She also said that she didn’t have any regrets in her five years with Cong, Sandro Marcos. It was because they gave it their all. Even though there were mistakes in the relationship, and there were times when they hurt each other in the past, they still learned important lessons, and they became better people.
Alexa shared that one of the lessons she learned from their relationship was the value of inner strength. The actress said that Sandro has solid inner strength, and he passed that on to her.
“It taught me to endure and overcome many trials and problems,” Alexa shared.
Then, the actress was asked what she is looking for in her future partner. After a laugh, she said that she wants someone who is driven and has big dreams.
“Someone who doesn’t give up easily when faced with life’s challenges. Someone who’s family-loving and funny because laughter is the best medicine. So, if he makes you laugh, para lang kayong naglalaro araw- araw at gagaan lang yung buhay,” Alexa Miro shared.
The actress also shared her wish for her former boyfriend. She said that wherever Sandro is, she hopes that he will always be able to take care of himself and can go through whatever he is going through.
