One of the most talked-about private vessels in the Philippines is the M/Y Happy Life owned by businessman and former Ilocos Sur governor Luis ‘Chavit’ Singson. It has an impressive size and jaw-dropping, lavish amenities.

According to reports, it cost around $12 million (approximately ₱600 million) when it was acquired, making it one of the most luxurious yachts in the country. Moreover, it speaks volumes about the lavish taste and well-known taste for grand and high-end investments of the businessman.
Owning the yacht also shows just how wealthy Singson is.
This massive yacht can accommodate large groups and events. It can carry up to 200 passengers, which is best for those who prefer to host special gatherings, parties, and exclusive trips at sea.
Among the luxurious facilities that this vessel boasts are its 16 bedrooms, multiple entertainment areas, and six Jacuzzis. These amenities offer guests not just comfort but also pure relaxation while sailing.
It also gained international attention when it was used during the Miss Universe 2016 pageant, which was then held in the Philippines. The vessel ferried the candidates from Manila to Batangas for one of their pre-pageant activities, giving them a glimpse of the country’s scenic coastal waters.
Businessman Joel Cruz, known as the “Lord of Scents,” also once celebrated his birthday on board the yacht together with guests from business, politics, and entertainment.
According to Singson, the name of his private vessel reflects his philosophy in life, which is sharing happiness with others and enjoying the fruits of his hard work.
