Joel Cruz refuted the claims of Kathy Dupaya.
JOEL CRUZ – The perfume magnate Joel Cruz has fired back to the claims of Kathy Dupaya with regards to money issue including million-peso debt.
Kathy Dupaya is a businesswoman based on Brunei but was currently facing charges filed by the scent expert Joel Cruz.
According to a previous article, “Lord of Scents” Joel Cruz filed estafa case against Dupaya over P40-million investment which was not returned to him.
“Starting December 5, 2017, up to now, wala na siyang ibinigay na interes na promise niya may 6 percent interest doon… It’s Philippine money, P29,750,000 plus US$200,000 [ang ipinuhunan ko], ani Cruz. “Kung nasa P52 ngayon ang rate, nasa P40 million na lahat-lahat,” Joel Cruz stated.
Dupaya, on the other hand, has accordingly acknowledged her debt to Joel Cruz.
Aside from Joel Cruz, celebrities such as Ara Mina, Sunshine Cruz, Diane Medina, and Ynez Veneracion also invested with the businesswoman and had the same complications about their money.
And with all the claims Dupaya has stated, Cruz fired back to it as per the article published by PEP.
It was not him who wanted to meet her because, in the first place, he doesn’t know her. Next are the expired perfumes he allegedly sent to Brunei.
“Kasi nga, ang problema sa kanya, marami siyang sinasabi. Salita siya nang salita, madaldal siya, dada siya nang dada. Maghaharap naman kami sa korte, so dun mapapatunayan lahat kung sino ang sinungaling na tao at sino ang professional na may mga dokumentong maipapakita.”
He also refuted Kathy’s statement about his wealth and reacted to her statement about the BIR to investigate his perfume business.
“Siguro, honesty is the best policy. The truth will prevail. Aminin na lang niya kung saan ba talaga napunta ang mga pera namin. Not only in the Philippines siya nanloloko, nakarating pa siya ng Brunei,” Cruz indicated based on the report.
Joel Cruz further added that it was a lesson learned that he met her.
“Sa dami ng magpa-file ng kaso sa kanya, ewan ko lang kung papaano niya haharapin ang lahat ng ito,” he said.
“Sa ngayon, I keep on praying. Pinagdarasal ko din si Kathy na maayos niya lahat ng ito, hindi lang sa akin kung hindi para sa lahat. Sa ngayon, nalulungkot din ako kasi isang friendship ang nawala, pero masyadong marami na ang nangyari at marami na ring salitang nabitawan, hindi lang sa akin, kung hindi sa aming lahat.”
