Rhian Ramos chooses not to elaborate on legal matters
Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos explained why she is not speaking out about the allegations made by her former driver.
To recall, Rhian, along with her friends Michelle Dee and Samantha Panlilio, faced complaints from Bonifacio Baro, who accused them of torture and illegal detention. Reportedly, Baro stole an “ang pao” containing valuable items.
The legal counsels of the three celebrities have already released a statement debunking Baro’s accusations. However, issues continue to surface along with the complaint.
In a recent interview on the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Rhian Ramos said that it was a choice not to further speak about the legal issue.
According to the actress, she respects the legal process and has a set time to present her side.
“To be honest, the people in my life who care about me, they do want me to defend myself. But we do also have to understand that there is an investigation going on. That really has to take priority,” Rhian said.
Even though she wanted to share with the public the details, she chose not to because, for her, there is a right time for this.
“As much as I want to say as much as I can and give you details, I think now is not the right time. But when the right time comes, I would love to come back and tell you everything,” the Kapuso actress stressed.
On the other hand, Rhian admitted that she was dismayed by how people easily judged her. “I find it so unfortunate that people are always so quick to jump to conclusions even without confirmation,” she said.
Rhian Ramos also confirmed that her cryptic post on her social media featuring fish emojis was indeed meant to mean something. She said that it was indeed a cryptic post and she is letting people have their interpretation. Then, she stressed that it was like when a person is in a house, and someone is cooking a fish, even though that person did not see that it was a fish, it can still be identified because of the smell.
In the same interview, Rhian also confirmed her breakup with businessman Sam Verzosa. She also addressed the rumors linking her to vlogger Wil Dasovich. She said that she and Wil are just close friends.
