In an interview, Gee Canlas confirmed her separation from Archie Alemania.
Celebrities Archie Alemania and Gee Canlas have separated, and this was confirmed by the actress in an interview.
TV host and actress Gee Canlas previously marked her birthday with some stunning photos and a reflection of her life. However, her statement quickly sparked speculation about the state of her relationship with her husband, Archie Alemania.

Her post appeared to be a declaration that they have separated after she shared that she is now a solo parent.
Gee shared that she wants to be more present and fully engaged in her life physically, emotionally, and mentally. She believes that by doing so, she can truly be herself in every role she carries: as a daughter, a sister, a friend, a woman, and a solo parent.
Recently, in an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda, she revealed and confirmed that they have separated. She admitted that the decision was not easy for her. She shared that she had to carefully weigh many aspects of her life before finally choosing to part ways with her husband.
“So I confirmed that we’re not together anymore, but that was not a decision that I took lightly. It’s not something na parang on a whim, ginawa nalang, or nag decide nalang ng ganun. I made sure that I was at a point in my life na I was weighing already what matters most in my life kaya tayo nandito ngayon,” she shared.
In 2018, Gee and Archie tied the knot back in a garden wedding in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. They have a child named Caleb.
For Gee, it has always been her dream to have her own family, which is the reason why her decision to end the marriage was hard. It is something that she is still processing until now.
When asked about her biggest regret, she honestly admitted that she wished she had left sooner. She explained that in trying to keep everything together, she was gradually losing herself and should have listened to her own needs earlier.
“If there’s one thing I regret, it’s not having a family, it’s not being married, it’s probably knowing when it should’ve stopped–– when I should’ve left,” she said.
