In a series of Instagram stories, Ellen Adarna shared why she asked for only PHP 20k from John Lloyd as support for Elias.
Based on a previous article, actress Ellen Adarna set the record straight after a “good provider” tag was given to Derek Ramsay. They have already separated, and they share a daughter, but to end the “misleading and unfair” statements about their current setup, she revealed the truth.
According to her, Ramsay has not sent support for months for their daughter, and only then did she realize that this was unfair when her family struck her with the truth. She didn’t notice how unfair the situation was because she can well afford the things their child needs.
“Last month, I told his asst., ‘No sustento, no Lili. That simple.’ I am not demanding anything beyond what is fair — but I will not allow a father to live comfortably just cooling his b*lls while having little to no contribution to his child because he gets to see her almost everyda,” she stated.
After imposing the “no sustento, no Lili,” she received a credit card with a limit of PHP 50,000.00 two weeks ago. However, she shared that this is not enough to fully cover Liana’s expenses.
“I have 5 nannies and 2 are for Liana. They only paid for one nanny for Liana. I paid for my own groceries,” she clarified, and added, “And they did not provide a house for me. I did that myself. Let us not rewrite history.”
Following the revelation she dropped, people online could not help but ask why the amount seems not enough when years ago, she only needed PHP 10,000.00 from John Lloyd Cruz for their son Elias. She needed just this amount, but Cruz voluntarily doubled it.
She explained this, and according to her, during this time, she and her son were in Cebu, and everything they needed was always provided by their company. The house, the bills, and the helpers were always taken care of. At that time, she only needed that amount to cover the basic needs of Elias, but as a good provider, John Lloyd doubled it.
Ever since, she has had nothing but good words for John Lloyd as a father to their son. He always gives more than enough and is always present in the life of Elias. This is why they have always been in the best place when it comes to their co-parenting situation. She stressed that they are best at being co-parents.
As a father, as per her words, John Lloyd has always been considerate and generous. She doesn’t need to remind him of his responsibility. According to her, he always does everything for Elias without being told.
