Mariel Padilla highlighted her husband

Celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla said that her husband Senator Robin Padilla has no stain of corruption.

The actor star started his political journey in 2022 when he ran for Senator and got the number one spot. Even though there had been a lot of criticism, questioning his credibility, ability, and knowledge to be a lawmaker, his supporters continue to rally behind him.

His number one supporter, his wife, never failed to be by his side in his political career, from the start of the campaign until now.

In a recent Facebook post, Mariel Padilla once again showcased her husband. The former Pinoy Big Brother host shared a post from Inquirer’s FB Page. This was news about Sen. Robin Padilla being elected as a member of the Senate committee on accountability of public officers and investigations, commonly known as the blue ribbon committee.

Padilla replaced Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, who has been absent since news about the alleged warrant of arrest against him circulated.

During the Senate session last Wednesday, Senate Deputy Majority Leader JV Ejercito moved to elect Padilla to the committee as part of the Senate minority bloc’s contingent to the panel, the report stated.

Mariel wrote a short caption on her post. “Walang bahid ng corruption,” she wrote, and included three saluting face emojis. As of this writing, the post shared by the celebrity vlogger has already received more than 20 thousand reactions, 1000 thousand comments, and 75 shares.

Many netizens who commented on Mariel’s post agreed with her. They pointed out that when it comes to corruption issues, the actor-turned-politician’s name is clean, while some were urging him to run for vice president. Previously, Sen. Robin Padilla had already expressed that he would not run in the 2028 elections, and Mariel’s comment on this was that people do not deserve her husband. Here are some comments.

Meanwhile, in previous posts, Mariel Padilla said that her husband and Senator Camille Villar were her two favorite senators.
