In a podcast, Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega has this revelation about her real-life housemate, actress Shuvee Etrata.
GMA actresses Shuvee Etrata and Ashley Ortega are real-life housemates. They have been living together for a long time now, and it all started when they found a certain connection between them due to their similar situation.
Recently, Ortega appeared as a guest on the podcast “In Aid of Adulting: Signs na Hindi ka na Bata. Shookt si Ashley Ortega,” where she shared details about their lives as real-life housemates.
According to her, some things for them were difficult given their busy and packed schedules as celebrities. Part of their responsibility is maintaining the cleanliness of their space, as they have no helper.
She also wishes sometimes that they had a cook to make their meals, for they no longer have the time to do it. She shared, “Siguro naging busy lang kami ni Shuvee, wala kasi kaming helper. Kaya nga sometimes, gusto ko na lang na sana may cook, pero wala. Hindi na rin namin naluluto lahat ng pagkain, parang on the go talaga, kasi kami lagi. So ‘yun ‘yung mahirap, I’m still in the process na to figure things out na ‘yung sa food.”
As for the cleaning, she accordingly does her own laundry and there’s also a laundry shop nearby their place. She also does the cleaning, but with Shuvee, although she loves her, the source of their conflict sometimes stems from her being “burara” and “makalat.”
“Actually, ‘yan I clean my own underwear, bra. ‘Yung laundry, may laundry na malapit. Ako, naglilinis ako. Si Shuvee [Etrata] love ko si Shuvee, tanggap ko na talaga na burara siya at makalat siyang tao,” she shared, and added, “Hindi, totoo talaga! Du’n kami nag-aaway.”
Ashley also shared what their lives were like after PBB, saying that with their many jobs and commitments, doing household chores has also become a challenge.
