No case was filed against the driver, according to Matteo Guidicelli.
In an update, actor Matteo Guidicelli said there will be no case filed against the driver who accidentally rammed into the restaurant.
A restaurant owned by the family of actor Matteo Guidicelli was damaged after a 72-year-old woman accidentally rammed the al fresco area of the restaurant. The incident happened at around 4 PM on Sunday.
Everything happened fast after the vehicle suddenly drove straight into the restaurant’s outdoor dining area. Fortunately, no guests or staff were hurt. According to the actor’s post, the vehicle hit the alfresco area of Da Gianni Cucina Italiana in Westgate Molito, Alabang.
“Our interior dining area remains open, while the al fresco section will be temporarily closed for safety and repairs. Above all, we thank the Lord for His protection. God was truly with us today! Thank you for your concern, prayers, and continued support. Please keep safe, everyone,” he said.
In an update, the actor expressed how grateful he is that no guests were hurt. However, two of his kitchen staff were hit. They were rushed into the hospital and are now in stable condition.
He chose not to reveal the identity of the driver, as he wanted to respect the driver and the driver’s family’s privacy. He described the driver as an “innocent lady” who immediately took responsibility, noting that accidents like this can happen to anyone.

In an interview, he expressed no plans to file a complaint against the driver, as the lady driver immediately admitted her fault. He believes that the mess could be ironed out through insurance and other measures available.
“Wala, wala. Nag-admit naman na kasalanan ni madam. Pag-uusapan na lang with the insurance or whatsoever,” the actor explained.
For now, the area is temporarily closed for cleanup and repairs, and he noted that they are doing everything to open on Valentine’s Day, as they already have a special menu for this special occasion.
“Very blessed kami that God was with us… It’s a lesson for all of us na mag-ingat talaga kasi anything can happen anytime,” he added.
