Foreign Vlogger Faces Backlash After Replacing P100,000 Gift w/ P200

Foreign Vlogger Earns Criticism After Giving Student P100,000 Gift But Eventually Replaced w/ P200

A foreign vlogger was flooded with comments after giving P100,000 to a student, only to quickly replace it with P200.

Recently, Master Sanker, a Facebook content creator, shared a video of himself distributing money to people he randomly selected. The post quickly went viral and drew mixed reactions from the online community.

In the video, he approached a female student and asked if she was following his page. The young woman happily answered yes. Moments later, the vlogger handed her P”100,000, saying it was a gift.

The student appeared surprised and grateful, and the scene seemed to reflect a generous act.

However, a follow-up video told a different story. In another video, the vlogger took back the P100,000 and replaced it with only P200. This sudden change upset many viewers who felt the act was misleading and unfair, especially since the student had already believed she was receiving a life-changing amount.

Social media users flooded the comment sections with criticism. Many said the act looked like it was done only for content and views, rather than genuine kindness. Others pointed out that playing with someone’s emotions, particularly a student, was insensitive and disrespectful.

Some netizens also raised concerns about the growing trend of content creators using surprise giveaways to attract attention, only to later twist the situation for entertainment. For them, such actions cross the line between creativity and exploitation.

The majority believed that giving false hope was wrong. Many netizens agreed that real generosity should not come with tricks, and respect should always come first, whether on or off camera.
