Kathryn’s family, especially her mom, has been very supportive of her career in the entertainment industry since she was young. Mommy Min has been very visible in her daughter’s years as an actress. Fans love the mom of the celebrity because she was known for not being toxic and controlling.

Almost a year since she moved out, netizens could not help but connect this recent post that Mommy Min Bernardo shared on TikTok. It was just a simple photo with the text, “Hello.”

In the comment section of her post, two netizens shared photos of Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala, who is now being linked to Kathryn Bernardo. To recall, in March 2025, netizens noticed that Mommy Min unfollowed Mayor Mark on Instagram.
Just recently, Kathryn and Mark were allegedly spotted together at a mall. With this, netizens commented that the rumored couple has soft-launched their relationship. Prior to this, there have been claims that they were spotted together at different venues.
