Ogie Diaz shared this “chika” about James Reid and Issa Pressman
Is it true that celebrity couple, actor-singer James Reid and social media personality Issa Pressman, are now engaged?
James and Issa’s relationship was confirmed in 2023, and it was through a social media post in which they were holding each other’s hands. Their relationship confirmation garnered polarizing comments.
Even though the couple received support from their fans and friends in the entertainment industry, there were a lot of negative comments on social media.
It was because of the accusation that James Reid cheated on his ex-girlfriend, award-winning actress Nadine Lustre, with Issa Pressman. Amid the bashing, the actor remained by Issa’s side.
In an interview back in November 2025, James said that he remained with his girlfriend and that Issa’s voice was taken from her, but she has people inside her circle who showed support for her.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, James and Issa’s relationship was discussed.
Ogie shared that allegedly, Issa was spotted on the set of James’s upcoming teleserye with Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo.
It was said that netizens noticed that Issa was wearing a “ring” that garnered speculations from the online community.
“Gaano ka totoo, sa set daw ni Kathryn Bernardo at ni James Reid, di ba meron silang teleseryeng ginagawa, minsan daw pumasyal itong si Issa Pressman,” Ogie shared.
The talent manager-vlogger added, “Marami daw naka-sight at hindi lang doon sa set, maging sa ibang okasyon, pag nagsasama daw ang dalawa, may napapansin ang mga tao. Bakit may singsing?”
Ogie also said that the focus was on the ring that Issa was wearing. Because of this, some fans are speculating that she and James are now engaged, and that what she was wearing was an engagement ring.
Following this, fans of the couple on social media were asking if this was true. As of this writing, James Reid and Issa Pressman have yet speak about the engagement rumor.
