Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian stressed that the House of Representatives should think carefully and examine the evidence on the filing of impeachment complaints against Marcos Jr. and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. According to the Senator, if it is just about politics, it will allegedly ruin the country.

“Dapat pag isipan mabuti ng mababang kapulungan, tingnan mabuti yung ebidensya dahil kung pampultika lang, talagang masisira tayo,” Gatchalian said.

Aside from Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, Senate Pres. Tito Sotto also spoke on the impeachment moves versus Marcos Jr. and Duterte saying it is allegedly embarrassing to the world that the two (2) highest officials in the government are facing ouster moves.

Amid the impeachment moves against the President, presidential son and Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos recused from participating in the impeachment process of the House against his father.
