Toni Gonzaga had her thoughts about her looks when she was young
Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga revealed that once, she said that she wanted to change her jaw.
Toni is one of the most successful female celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry. In past interviews, she has shared her humble beginnings in showbiz. She joined various auditions just to have projects.
Eventually, she was given a chance to be the female lead in a soft drink TV commercial with A-list actor Piolo Pascual. From that, doors of opportunities in showbiz opened for her, especially when she had her hosting stint in the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga.
From that, she became a talk show host, a teleserye actress, and a movie star. Toni Gonzaga also ventured into music. She released songs and had her concerts.
Before garnering the success that she has now, Toni had something she was insecure about–it was her jaw.
In a recent episode of Toni Talks Cards on her YouTube channel, Toni, along with her guests, comedian Bayani Agbayani, and Kapamilya host Luis Manzano, shared their thoughts on the prompts from a set of cards.
One question asked what they wanted to change in their physical appearance if ever. Bayana answered, “Wala.” He added, “I’m perfect because Lord created all of us in perfect figure.”
Then, Toni revealed that when she was young, she thought of changing her jaw. “Ako dati noong bata ako, kung may babaguhin ako ‘yong panga ko,” she revealed, adding that eventually she learned to make it look smaller
“Kaya lang, sa tagal ko nang nabuhay sa mundo, tapos nagawan ko na ng paraan paano siya ma-make-upan, matago, maiangkop sa mga pananamit ko [at] hitsura,” Toni Gonzaga stressed.
After that, Bayani said that Toni did not need to change anything in her physical features. The comedian quipped that if there is one thing that Toni Gonzaga should change is supposed to her sister, Alex Gonzaga.
Luis Manzano also said that he did not want anything to be altered in his physical features.
