They were also seen together in Makati and some Kapamilya events. Fans started calling them the KaiNiel tandem. In October 2025, Daniel addressed the rumors, asking for privacy while noting that things would “naturally” come out.
By January 2026, the couple became more open. Photos and videos of them together during a charity visit circulated on social media.
When Daniel Padillaâs mom, Queen Mother Karla Estrada, was asked about this, she responded to the dating rumors with a supportive statement, saying “hayaan na natin.”

With this, the netizen who uploaded the clip on Reddit stated that it was a way of debunking the rumored pregnancy.
