There have been online rumors suggesting that Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado is not on good terms with the family of her husband, fellow Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo. While conflicts and misunderstandings are normal, people made a big deal about it because of their celebrity status.

In a recent post, Trillo addressed it directly through his statement. He took to his Facebook page to clear the issue, stressing the peace within his family. He asked the public to refrain from dragging his loved ones into rumors that are baseless and unfounded.
“Sa mga hindi po nakakakilala sa aking asawa , isa siya sa pinakamabuting tao sa buhay ko. Isang pribilehiyo na ako ang pinili niyang makasama habang buhay,” his statement read, highlighting his deep love for his wife.
Dennis also asked for understanding toward his parents, describing them as elderly, private individuals who live far from the spotlight of show business.
“Ang mga magulang ko naman ay may edad na po. Hindi din sila showbiz at tahimik lang sila na namumuhay… wag naman sana sila bigyan ng isyu,” he added, and expressed how much he loves them all. Trillo also said that they have a great relationship, putting to rest speculations of discord.
Ending his message on a reflective note, Dennis encouraged everyone to return to empathy and shared responsibility, especially as the new year begins.
He ended his post, “2026 na po, magfocus nalang tayo sa pagiging mabuting tao. Madaming problema ang ating bansa na mas kailangan nating pagtuunan ng pansin. Maiksi lang ang buhay, piliin natin maging masaya at mabuti araw araw.”
