Vlogger Expresses Frustration Over Alleged Hassles in Dealing w/ LTO System

A vlogger shared his disappointment after experiencing what he described as difficulties in dealing with the Land Transportation Office.

Recently, James Deakin, a Facebook user, posted his concerns about the alleged hassle in the LTO system. The post quickly went viral on social media and garnered various reactions from netizens.

The vlogger explained that he wanted to teach his son the value of following traffic rules and respecting the law. To do this, he made sure his son went through proper driving education by enrolling him in a full driving course.

Deakin also insisted that his son follow the legal process in getting a driver’s license, without shortcuts or help from fixers. For him, doing things the right way was an important lesson.

A few months after receiving his license, his son made a simple mistake on the road. He accepted the violation and followed instructions, believing that taking responsibility was part of learning.

However, the situation became more stressful when the violation was labeled more serious than it should have been, raising concerns about long-term consequences for a new driver.

Things became more complicated when they tried to settle the violation at the LTO. Multiple visits, long waiting hours, and repeated transfers from one office to another added to their frustration.

Despite completing payment, they were asked to submit documents that were not directly related to the violation. Since the vehicle involved was not theirs, getting these papers took time.

Eventually, they were informed that the deadline had already passed, even though several days within the given period were holidays and office closures. It led to an automatic license suspension, which the vlogger felt was unfair.
