Many fans loved their onscreen partnership, while some anticipated that it could also be in real life. However, Kathryn is now being linked to Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala.
Just recently, a netizen shared a photo of Kathryn and Mark taken during a supposed dinner date. However, the netizen was bashed by the fans of Kathryn, saying that it could not be confirmed if the woman in the photo was really the Kapamilya actress. The uploader of the photo released a statement regarding this issue.

Entertainment writer Gorgy Rula wrote in his article in Pilipino Star Ngayon that they have long been hearing that this movie project is grand, which will be directed by Olivia Lamazan.
It was said that Kathryn had already announced that she would be doing the Elena 1944 movie in a press conference, and the poster was also shown.
However, Rula said that, as they recently heard, the movie will no longer push through. He said that the budget might have been the reason.
“Maaaring ‘di kayanin sa budget, kaya ini-shelve na lang daw muna,” the entertainment writer shared. However, he said that there was no official announcement yet regarding this, as of this writing. With this, fans have to wait for the final decision of the movie production.
