Teacher at Taytay National High School Heartbroken After Classroom Is Vandalized

A teacher at Taytay National High School was left devastated after her classroom was allegedly disrespected.

Recently, the Facebook page 103.1 Brigada News FM – Palawan shared photos of a classroom that had been splashed with paint. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from netizens.

The affected teacher is a Grade 10 adviser at Central Taytay National High School. She was devastated after seeing paint splashed across the classroom walls and the vegetables she and her students had carefully planted pulled out from the soil.

The classroom was more than just a learning space for her. It was a place she worked hard to improve the comfort and growth of her students.

During the Christmas break, when students were away, one student who lived near the school kindly volunteered to water the plants regularly. One day, the student was surprised to find the classroom already damaged.

The walls were stained with paint, and the vegetable plants were uprooted and destroyed. The student immediately informed the teacher about the incident. Upon seeing the condition of her classroom, the teacher became overwhelmed with emotion.

The improvements in the room were made not only for decoration but to create a welcoming space where students could feel motivated to learn. She even spent her own money to make the classroom better and livelier.

The vandalism felt like a direct insult to their shared hard work and dedication.

Many hope this serves as a lesson to respect schools and public spaces, and to be mindful that acts of destruction can break hearts just as much as they damage property.
