John Feir thought that the wedding of Mikoy Morales took place on January 3
Pepito Manaloto Star John Feir accidentally attended a stranger’s wedding, thinking that it was the wedding of his co-star Mikoy Morales.
John and Mikoy have been part of the longest-running Kapuso sitcom of Michael V for many years. In the sitcom, John plays the character of Patrick, the best friend of Michael’s character Pepito or Pitoy, while Mikoy gave life to the character of Roxy, the best friend of Chito Manaloto, Pepito’s son, who is played by Jake Vargas.
The cast members have developed camaraderie, and they became like a real family on the set and even behind the camera since it aired in 2010 and until now.
It was announced last year that Mikoy Morales is getting married to his girlfriend, Isa Garcia. In a recent Facebook post, Mikoy shared a screenshot of his conversation with John Feir.
The screenshot featured John’s selfie wearing a “barong.” His message to Mikoy was “sa sobrang pagmamahal ko sayo kala ko ngayon kasal mo.” That was on January 3, but Mikoy’s wedding was scheduled in March.
In the caption of his post, Mikoy explained that in their wedding invitation, they told their guests to “Please RSVP on or before Jan 3.” Apparently, John just read the date, “Jan 3” and thought that was the wedding date.
He went to the church and attended someone else’s wedding. “Ayun, dumating kanina. Pag dating niya lahat naka-suit, siya lang ang naka-Barong. Pina-gitna pa siya at ginandahan daw ng anggulo yung pagkuha sa kanya ng photo/video. Wala siyang nakilala at iba daw hitsura ng groom. Tsaka lang tumawag kay Electric Fans of Chariz Solomon para magtanong at magkwento at ayun nga, confirmed: Na-Patrick siya in real life,” Mikoy wrote in the caption of his post.
In the comment section of his post, Mikoy shared a screenshot of the post from the studio that covered the wedding, and it showed that John Feir really attended the wrong wedding. John congratulated the newlywed couple anyway, even though he did not know them.
