A lady netizen is now asking for help to recover the money she mistakenly sent to an incorrect number.
Recently, Maricel Agcaoili Alseco, a Facebook user, shared her frustration after the money she worked hard to earn was sent to the wrong number. The post quickly went viral and drew reactions online.
Alseco explained that she mistakenly entered one wrong digit while sending money through a cash transfer service. That small error led to her entire amount being sent to someone she does not know and cannot directly contact.
The money involved totaled P25,000, which she shared was equivalent to her one-month salary. For her, it was not just a simple amount but something she worked long hours to earn. Losing it caused deep worry, especially since the money was meant for her daily needs and responsibilities.
After realizing the mistake, she tried to reach out and waited for a response from the recipient, hoping the person would return the money. As time passed without any reply, her concern grew.
Maricel shared her situation publicly, asking anyone who might know the owner of the account to please help relay her message.
Many expressed sympathy and encouraged the recipient to return the money out of kindness and honesty. Others reminded users to double-check details before sending money digitally, as one small mistake can lead to serious trouble.
