Vice recently reached a new milestone in his showbiz career. He was chosen to be the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 Best Actor for the movie Call Me Mother. The comedian-host was well-celebrated by his colleagues and his fans.
Vice recently released a vlog, and he had a fun moment with his fans. He had his “Meme Nag-text” challenge, his version of “may nag-text.” He entertained questions from netizens.
Based on the article in Bandera, the first question was how to properly spend the 13th month pay. He said that this is really tough, especially when one is not a wise spender. Then, he said that the next to be considered is the amount of the 13th month pay.
“Kasi kahit gaano ka magpaka-wise kung kaunti lang naman ang 13th month pay mo baka kulang pa ‘yan sa pangangailangan ng pamilya at buhay mo,” Vice Ganda quipped.
With a serious tone, the comedian-host said that one should make sure that they are happy spending their money on anything because it is their money and they should be happy.
“Kaysa naman ‘yung naubos ang pera mo pero nakanganga ka pa rin at malungkot ka pa rin. Just make sure you are happy,” he added.
Then, Vice was asked to comment on the situation when someone was already in a talking stage with someone, but still flirting with others. For the comedian, this was like cheating.
“Sampalin mo kasi bastos siya. Hindi na pwede ‘yung bait-baitan. (Kapag nasampal na sabay dialogue ng) ‘Ay? Masakit? Pasensiya na, ‘yan din kasi ‘yung naramdaman ko, eh.’” he stressed.
Another notable question that he received was about dreaming of becoming a comedian. Vice Ganda had a funny answer to this. He told aspiring comedians not to pursue their dreams yet because he is still in the industry, and he hopes they will not take his place.
