Elderly Man Dies After Shot Dead Inside His Own Garage
An elderly man tragically lost his life after he was shot dead while cleaning his car inside his own garage in Laoag City.
On Monday (December 29, 2029), a 75-year-old man was shot and killed while cleaning his car inside his garage in Barangay Bengcag.
According to police reports, the elderly man was inside the garage of his home, focused on cleaning his vehicle, when two men suddenly entered the compound. CCTV footage showed the suspects calmly walking toward the garage before carrying out the attack.
Without warning, the victim was shot at close range several times. He collapsed on the spot and suffered serious injuries.
The suspects were both wearing helmets, making it hard to identify their faces. One was seen wearing a jacket, while the other had on a blue shirt. After the shooting, the two men quickly left the area.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival due to the severity of his wounds.
Police authorities said that they are still working to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the killing. At this time, there are no confirmed leads, and investigators are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to track the movements of the attackers before and after the incident.
