Maricel Soriano shared a post about Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre
Diamond Star Maricel Soriano praised Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda and award-winning actress Nadine Lustre for their movie Call Me Mother.
The said movie, which was officially released on December 25, is one of the official entries of the Metro Manila Film (MMFF) 2025. Previously, Nadine and Vice gushed over their reunion project. They first worked together in the movie Petrang Kabayo years ago.
Vice admitted in a previous interview that he felt a bit shy on the set of their movie. It was because Nadine is known for being a drama actress while he is a comedian. Since their movie theme is drama, it was a challenge for Vice to level up with his acting alongside his co-stars.
Nadine, on the other hand, admitted that she avoided Vice in the past. It was because she knew his brand of comedy, and she was afraid she would be the “bunog” or the subject of a joke.
Many moviegoers praised Vice and Nadine for their movie. The two movie stars also received praise from the one and only Diamond Star.

“Syempre hindi ako pwedeng mawala sa pinaka-importanteng gabi mo @praybeytbenjamin,” Maricel wrote in the caption of her post, She also praised Nadine. “Ang husay husay nyo ni @nadine!”, the Diamond Star said.
Maricel did not forget to praise Anne as well. “PS. Ang ganda ganda mo parati @annecurtissmith,” she said about the “dyosa” of the Philippine entertainment industry.
