Kapamilya actors Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson are set to do a TV series together next year.
Richard officially started his acting career as a Kapuso. After several years, he transferred to ABS-CBN. The last teleerye project that he did under his current home network was the action primetime series Incognito.
For Gerald, the Kapamilya network has always been his home. He rose to fame through the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. From that, he continued doing acting projects, and that last TV series that he did was Sins of the Father, which also became his directorial debut.

In 2026, these two actors will share the same screen, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon. Richard Gutierrez shared that one of the projects that he will do next is a teleserye with Gerald Anderson.
“And in 2026, I’ll be doing another teleserye for ABS-CBN and we’re actually at the planning stage now. So, yeah, after this, Shake, Rattle & Roll, I’ll be resting for a bit. And then, I’ll be starting a new project again for ABS-CBN. And also another film for Regal,” Richard shared.

Both of them have entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025. Richard’s movie entry is Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins. In this movie, he worked with actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi for the first time. In a previous interview, Richard shared that he was excited to share the same frame with Ivana. The actress was also happy to have the chance to work with the actor.

For the MMFF 2025, Gerald Anderson’s entry was Rekonek. The movie is about losing internet connection during the holiday season. With this, the lives of the main characters went through a dramatic change.
In a previous interview, Gerald shared that he was proud of the outcome of their movie. He was also one of the producers of this film.
