Female Netizen Shares Encounter w/ Man Selling Watch for Only P30
A female netizen went viral online after buying a man’s watch for P30 when she learned that he badly needed money.
Recently, Joan V. Villamin, a Facebook user, shared her encounter with the man who was in urgent need of cash, which led her to buy the watch he was selling for only P30. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions online.
The man approached her and politely asked if she would buy his watch for P30. He explained that he urgently needed the money. Without hesitation or questions, she agreed and handed him the amount right away.
Joan did not even check the watch at that moment. She simply placed it aside, thinking that what mattered most was being able to help someone in need, even in a small way. For her, the value of helping was more important than the item itself.
Villamin believed that even a small act could make a difference in someone’s life. Hours later, around 4 a.m., curiosity led her to finally look at the watch. To her surprise, it was brand new and still wrapped in plastic.
The lady netizen wondered if the watch had been something the man worked hard for and was forced to sell because he had no other choice.
The realization deepened her feelings, but it also strengthened her belief in choosing kindness whenever possible. She shared that helping, no matter how small, is always worth it, especially when done with a sincere heart.
