Nadine Lustre made a revelation about Vice Ganda
Award-winning actress Nadine Lustre revealed that she used to avoid Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda.
Nadine and Vice are among the brightest stars in the Philippine entertainment industry. Their careers continue to flourish over the years, and their fandom continues to grow.
They shared the same frame for their latest movie, Call Me Mother, one of the official entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025. This was not their first acting project together.
Nadine Lustre and Vice Ganda first worked together for the movie Petrang Kabayo in 2010. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, the actress admitted that she felt intimidated by the comedian-host when they had their first project.
During her younger years and when she was just starting in showbiz, Nadine shared that she was already impressed by Vice’s talent and skills.
That’s why Nadine couldn’t help but feel nervous while on the set of the movie because she felt his personality was intimidating. She told Vice about this.
Because of Vice’s unique style of humor, Nadine often avoids being in the center so she doesn’t get to be the subject or the one being ridiculed.
“Natatakot ako mabunot that time. Every time na may eksena kami, lagi akong nakaiwas. Yung eksena kasi naming dun, lagi niya akong binabara dun sa scene, so yun okay lang kasi nasa script siya, pero ayoko talagang ma-okray,” the award-winning actress said.
On the other hand, Nadine is so thankful for the opportunity to work with Vice. “But it was such a good experience, kasi for me, as someone who’s starting in the industry, to be able to work with Ate Vice na agad eh at that time ‘Vice Ganda’ na siya, so it was such a privilege to be able to work with Ate Vice,” she shared.
Previously, Vice Ganda said in an interview that he felt “nahihiya” while filming their movie, and it was because of Nadine Lustre. The comedian-host was aware of Nadine’s achievements and caliber when it comes to drama projects. As a comedian, Vice said that it was a challenge for him to do scenes with the respected drama actress.
