Andi Eigenmann received support from netizens for the life she chose
Content creator Andi Eigenmann talked about her unglamorous life in the surfing capital of the Philippines, Siargao.
Andi started young in the entertainment industry. Coming from a popular showbiz clan, it was quite expected for her to follow in the footsteps of her parents, the late actor Mark Gil and the late actress Jaclyn Jose.
She did several leading lady roles in Kapamilya teleseryes, but in 2017, she decided to leave the entertainment industry. It was the time when she wanted to focus on her personal life, to be with her partner Philmar Alipayo and their kids.
For many years, Andi Eigenmann maintained a simple life with her family in Siargao. She started her YouTube channel, in which she would share vlogs about their daily routine, their travels, and the activities they could do on the island.
Andi is also active on social media, and she still has some brand partnerships. In a recent Instagram post, she shared her photo, raw and unfiltered, and without makeup. She now has a morena skin because of being under the sun most of the time.
“Pretty sure I’m looking less like the ideal shampoo or skincare girl lately. Incredibly sun- kissed, salt- worn even.lol but also, so grateful nonetheless,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
Even though she has been away from the glitz and glamour of showbiz, the former actress said that she found happiness. “I look exactly like someone living her dream, and I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. Wouldn’t have it any other way,” Andi Eigenmann said.
In the comment section of her post, netizens expressed happiness for her; some also expressed admiration for her for embracing the life she wanted. “You’re beautiful inside and out bb girl,” a netizen commented.
